Saints Michael, Raphael and Gabriel, pray for us!
The Feast of the Archangels comes right before the priests’ convocation. Fr. Steve comments that we are in a spiritual battle which has already been won. But we still need the protection of St. Michael, the healing of St. Raphael, and the evangelistic zeal of St. Gabriel, archangels all. In addition we evoke the power and protection of the Blessed Mother. In the current crisis we and our clerics, as a Church, need to be healed of duplicity, hypocrisy, and infidelity. Pray that we can triumph over evil.
