The Praise and Worship Ensembles employ a blend of traditional hymns and today's praise & worship music. The ensembles provide music for Masses, healing services, parish retreats, and other parish events as needed. Groups often feature piano, guitars, violins, flutes, and rich harmonies, always with a focus on Beauty and the aim of assisting the congregation to pray more deeply.
Different praise and worship ensembles regularly provide music for the 9 am Sunday Mass, choosing contemporary hymns and songs from the Spirit and Song Hymnal as well as the St. Michael Hymnal.
The bi-monthly Healing Encounter service, which also takes place in the church, is also enlivened by a small group of players and singers who help to create a prayerful environment enabling those present to experience the Lord's healing presence.
In addition, the ensembles have supplied musical talent to enhance our yearly parish retreats, helping those who attend to encounter God in prayer.
