Sister Louis Marie Zogg

Sister Louis Marie Zogg, OP is a final professed Dominican Sister of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist who is teaching at Lansing Catholic High School.  As per the Dominican apostolate of preaching the truth in all of its various manifestations, Sister has taught the sciences, including biology, chemistry, and physics, in Chicago, and currently teaches chemistry at LCHS.

Sister Louis Marie received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in biology and in secondary education with a minor in chemistry.  After teaching in Chicago and Lansing, Sister studied at the Catholic University of America and received her licentiate in philosophy.  During her time at CUA, Sister focused on study of Aristotelian virtues and Thomistic metaphysics.  She will be presenting portions of her thesis on St. Thomas Aquinas’ exposition of the virtue of humility in the Summa Theologica, Secunda Secundae.
