Feb 21: Today's remarkable convergence of events.
1) Today in Rome the Holy Father gathers with the heads of the Episcopal conferences worldwide to discuss the abuse crisis. Many leaders in the church think that the crisis has nothing to do with homosexuality.
2) Today is also the feast of St. Peter Damian, who wrote a book called Gomorrah, about the curse of homosexuality in the priesthood.
3) In today’s first reading we hear how the rainbow is a symbol of God’s covenant with man. That symbol has been robbed from us by the LGBT movement and used as a sign of the blurring of sexuality in the world.
Let us pray and fast that the bishops and the pope will be courageous in proclaiming the truth and reforming the Church.
