How to hand on faith in the face of a hostile culture
Fr. Steve reflects on Christ's words, "Give to God the things that are God's." We bear the image of God, and we are to give ourselves (and help our children give themselves) to God. Since the 60s, each generation sees less practice of the faith. Drawing on Christian Smith, et al.'s sociological research, Fr. Steve reminds parents of their vital role in modeling and fostering faith in their kids. He concludes by talking about what Resurrection School and our parish are doing to help families keep and hand on the faith.
