Resurrection School partners with families to provide a nurturing Catholic environment focused on academic excellence, where students grow into disciples who know, love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.
I've spent my career teaching English in Catholic schools, beginning at Lansing Catholic in 2006 and coming to Resurrection in 2013. I have so many fond memories of growing up at St. Joseph in Pewamo, and I feel so fortunate to have found that same close-knit, caring atmosphere here at Resurrection, where my husband and I are raising our three children. Introducing the students to current and classic literature is my favorite part of teaching the middle-school literature and writing classes. I will never get tired of the look of amazement and pride that comes over students' faces when they realize that they can read and understand a difficult poem or a Shakespeare play!
