Resurrection School partners with families to provide a nurturing Catholic environment focused on academic excellence, where students grow into disciples who know, love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.
I have been teaching since 2006 and I have been at Resurrection since 2012! I love what I do! I feel blessed to be at Resurrection. The Spirit is definitely moving here!
As an elementary resource teacher I work with students (kindergarten through 4th grade) in small groups or individually to provide additional support in reading, math or social skills. The small setting allows me to better meet the individualized needs of my students, incorporating hands-on learning materials and instructional games. I write and update students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans. I also help with reading centers in the classrooms.
I received my Bachelors degree from MSU and a Masters in Teaching in Special Education from Oakland City University, a small private university in Southern Indiana. When I’m not at school I enjoy gardening, jogging, camping and spending time with my family! I also love mountains and coffee, put those two together and you get pretty near perfection!
